Students study online courses while receiving mentorship from their pastors, participating in a ministry practicum, and applying what they learn within their own church community. This model combines academic rigor with relational discipleship and hands-on ministry experience.

  • Missio Dei Northeast is designed for church members who want to grow in theological understanding and ministry effectiveness. Programs are available for:

    • Individuals seeking deeper biblical knowledge

    • Church members serving in ministry roles

    The certificate of theology and certificate of Christian ministry are available for both men and women. The certificate for local church leadership, however, is specifically designed for men preparing for leadership roles such as elders, missionaries, or church planters

  • The program is designed to be manageable for working adults. While the exact time will vary by course, students should expect weekly reading, assignments, and discussions along with participation in their ministry practicum.

  • Classes follow a hybrid model that combines online lectures, live sessions led by experienced pastors, and mentorship within your local church—blending strong academic instruction with relational, ministry-focused training.

  • Course costs depend on whether the student is seeking academic credit:

    • $550 per course for students taking courses for academic credit

    • $150 per course for students taking courses for personal enrichment

    Scholarships may be available through partner churches. For more information about how to apply for a scholarship, please speak with your local church pastor.

  • Through our partnership with The Alexandrian Institute, all of our courses can be taken for credit at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

  • Yes! Through the partnership with The Alexandrian Institute, students may have the opportunity to transfer course credits toward accredited degree programs offered by Alexandrian or other partner institutions.
