Our Story

Missio Dei Northeast began with a shared conviction among a group of Reformed pastors in Western New York: our churches needed accessible, faithful theological training rooted in the life of the local church. Too often, people in our churches felt like they needed to leave the region in order to receive strong theological education. We believed there was a better way—one that would equip God’s people without removing them from the very churches where they were called to serve.

Alongside this need was a vision to see a growing movement of theologically trained and spiritually mature disciples right here in the Northeast who were equipped to faithfully proclaim Christ, serve His church, and engage the world with the gospel.

Through a series of providential relationships and conversations, the vision for Missio began to take shape. Pastors from across the Northeast connected with leaders at BibleMesh, and together began building what would eventually become Missio Dei Northeast.

Today, that vision is now a reality. Missio Dei Northeast exists to equip God’s people for God’s mission—right where they are, in the life of the local church.
